Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2, 2026
PTAA ("we", "us", or "our") builds consumer apps centered on culture, with privacy as a starting point rather than an afterthought. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, please write to us at contact@pta-corp.tech.
Scope
This policy applies to our website at pta-corp.tech and to applications published by PTAA, except where an individual application is accompanied by its own privacy notice that specifies otherwise. Where an application has its own notice, that notice takes precedence for that application.
Our principles
- We collect as little personal information as possible.
- Wherever the design allows, processing happens on your device, not on our servers.
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in our applications.
Information we collect
Information you provide directly
When you contact us — for example, by emailing support, asking a privacy question, or replying to a newsletter — we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address and the contents of your message. We use this information only to respond to you and to improve our services.
Information from your use of our applications
Most data created in our applications stays on your device. Where an application offers an optional cloud sync, backup, or account feature, we store only what is necessary to provide that feature. The specifics — what is stored, where, and for how long — are documented in the application itself.
Diagnostic information
Some of our applications collect anonymous diagnostic information to help us identify crashes and performance problems. Where this is collected, it is aggregated, contains no contents of your data, and you can disable it in the application's settings. On Apple platforms, you can also control diagnostic sharing through your device's privacy settings.
Website information
Our website logs basic technical information that is sent automatically by your browser, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. We use these logs to keep the site running, to understand aggregate traffic, and to defend against abuse. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our website and applications
- Respond to your support requests and other communications
- Investigate and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your personal information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell your personal information.
Legal bases (for users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR:
- Performance of a contract — to provide our applications and services to you.
- Legitimate interests — to keep our services secure, to improve them, and to communicate with you about them, balanced against your rights.
- Consent — where we ask for it, for example for optional diagnostic sharing.
- Legal obligation — where we are required by law to process certain data.
Sharing
We share personal information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers. A small number of vetted vendors help us run our infrastructure (for example, hosting and email delivery). They process data on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect it and to use it only as we instruct.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if we are required to do so by law, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business transfers. If PTAA is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will give you notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. When we transfer personal information from the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland to other jurisdictions, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or for as long as required by law. Support correspondence is typically retained for up to two years so that we can refer back to context if you write to us again. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active and for a short period afterwards in case you change your mind. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to our legal obligations.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of information that is inaccurate
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Request a copy of your information in a portable format
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, please email contact@pta-corp.tech. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Children
Our website and applications are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. If the change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, for example by posting a prominent notice on our website or within an affected application.
Contact
If you have questions about this policy, or about how we handle your information, please contact us at contact@pta-corp.tech. We do our best to respond to every privacy inquiry personally.
